Location: SumgaitDescription:JOB SUMMARY This position is expected to deliver specialist technical support and assurance for Structural/Civil, work across the entire field of Structural/Civils engineering, ensure safe, reliable operation and remove or mitigate risk within their area of responsibility and provide support to the Minor Mods team and be responsible for approval of the Structural/Civils maintenance strategies and procedures.The Individual is expected to have technical knowledge of structures, civil construction, and pipelines, their function at oil and gas processing facilities, and be knowledgeable of applicable industry, country, and company standards and practices. JOB DUTIES Approve all Structural/Civils maintenance strategies and proceduresParticipate in any associated spares analysis and selection programProvide troubleshooting and operational support for structures, civil constructionsParticipate in hazard and reliability analysis as requiredPerform Structural/Civils troubleshooting and root cause failure analysisContribution to BP’s internal Structural/Civils Engineering Technical Practices (ETPs).Provide technical guidance on application of codes, standards, project design criteria and ETPs.Participate in the appropriate Communities of Practice (CoP) and Networks.Review and approve maintenance, repair, and operating procedures as requestedApprove MOCs as requiredProvide technical support to the site maintenance functions, including spares selection as requestedParticipate in the condition monitoring programs for Structural/Civils as defined in the maintenance strategiesProvide support to the Minor Mods team to define and implement required facility Structural/Civils modificationsControl subcontractors, solving technical problems quickly on site, organization subcontractors.Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports, NCR, Surveillance, order the materials, Review ITP, MS, Certificates.Support the project manager in hiring contractors and choosing suppliers for the projectSupervise construction projects to make sure they meet technical specificationsEnsure that construction projects are completed within planned cost and timeKeep accurate records of material and labor costs incurred in the construction processMonitor the progress of the construction work and performance of subcontractors at the siteHold meetings with site workers and subcontractors on behalf of the project managerConvey message from the site manager or major stakeholders to contractors and subcontractorsConvey information about the progress of the project and performance of the contractors to the managerAssist the manager in preparing report to be submitted to stakeholders by providing necessary information on the progress of the businessRepresent the project manager in executive and stakeholders’ meetingsEducate site workers on safety procedures to be adopted at the site and make sure that they adhere strictly to safety standardsEnsure that the construction site is safe and free from any hazardous chemical or objectsMotivate all the participants in the projectSite and Safety monitoring, QC procedure checkingReports/Advises/Recommendations/RemarksPrepare shop drawings for implement on site and review original drawings.Prepare MES (Ministry of Emergency Situation) documents according of Azerbaijan legislation.Prepare MOC, WDR and others, for Engineering and Maintenance.Other duties requested by Line ManagerSupervision all civil works which of executed by contractors on site.Coordinate with clients, contractors and detail engineering office.Planning and monitoring the work for timely completion of the project.Conduct all civil works procedure and performance qualifications.Assure the quality of work done by contractor.Maintain QA/QC records.Attended and manage progress meeting with contractor.Ensure that any change in project plan is executed by contractors.Prepare SOW and MOC.Technical evaluation of bidders during tender process.
