Photographer & Videographer

Job Summary: The Photographer and Videographer is responsible for creating high-quality visual content that represents SABAH.city, its projects, and activities across digital and offline channels. The role covers the full production process, from developing visual ideas and planning shoots to photography, video production, editing, and preparing final content for social media, events, websites, and other communication materials. About Us: SABAH.city is Azerbaijan’s next-generation innovation cluster, developed by the High Technologies Park of the Ministry of Science and Education. It unites startups, incubators, accelerators, venture capital funds, research centers, technology companies, and universities in one integrated ecosystem. Our Requirements: At least one year of professional experience in photography and videography; A strong portfolio demonstrating photography and video production skills; Strong understanding of composition, lighting, framing, and visual storytelling; Experience creating photo and video content for social media, events, corporate communications, and digital platforms; Ability to use professional cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, and other production equipment; Proficiency in photo and video editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or equivalent platforms; Strong understanding of social media formats and content requirements; Ability to develop creative concepts and visual ideas suited to the purpose and target audience of the content; Fluency in Azerbaijani; knowledge of English is an advantage. Your Key Responsibilities: Develop video content plans, ideas, and templates; Organize productions and shoots; develop video scripts, synopses, and visual direction; Edit video content and produce monthly and ad hoc videos for social media; Adapt video assets for different digital placements and formats; Film events, conferences, and workshops; Lead podcast production and maintain the video library; Plan and conduct professional photo shoots for SABAH.city and its projects; Photograph events, conferences, workshops, team activities, and other company activities; Produce high-quality portrait, corporate, lifestyle, and event photography; Edit and prepare photos for social media, websites, presentations, and other digital platforms; Maintain and organize the company photo library and archives. Skills and Competencies: Strong visual storytelling, composition, framing, lighting, and creative direction skills Strong technical skills in photography, videography, editing, and production equipment Creativity and ability to translate marketing objectives into engaging visual content Attention to detail and high standards for visual quality Ability to work independently, manage production timelines, and deliver under deadlines Strong teamwork and communication skills, including the ability to work with marketing, creative, and external teams; Flexibility and adaptability across different shooting environments, formats, and content needs.
