Junior Accountant

We’re looking for an Junior Accountant to join our growing team! Your key objective: Maintain accurate financial records and support the finance team in all accounting operations. Job responsibilities: Process and record financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner. Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and company ledgers. Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking. Ensure accurate and timely payroll preparation. Identify and report financial discrepancies or irregularities to senior management. Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, and prepare tax returns. Maintain and organize financial documentation for audits and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Stay updated on accounting standards, best practices, and regulations. Skills and abilities: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 1+ year of proven experience in accounting is required. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel is essential). Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
