Senior Project Contract Specialist

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Project Contract Specialist / Project Contract Admin Senior to join a major project within the Oil & Gas industry. Key Responsibilities Support the Project Manager and Project Contract Manager throughout the project execution phase. Review tender-stage contractual summaries, legal analyses and supporting documentation. Verify the completeness and consistency of contract documentation and coordinate its distribution to relevant project team members. Support the development and implementation of the project contract management strategy. Administer contractual changes, variations, change orders and claims. Assist the Procurement team in preparing project-specific contracts for goods, services and subcontracts. Identify contractual and commercial risks related to subcontractors and vendors and support their effective management. Manage formal project correspondence and contractual documentation. Review and update partner agreements in line with project developments. Maintain contractual registers and records throughout project execution. Monitor compliance with contractual obligations, notices and key milestones. Support preliminary activities related to potential disputes and litigation in coordination with the Legal function. Ensure full compliance with company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures. Perform other related duties as required. Requirements Higher education; technical or legal specialization within the Oil & Gas industry is preferred. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas industry. Fluent English and Azerbaijani. Strong knowledge of contract management and commercial risk assessment. Experience in contract drafting, negotiation and claims management. Good understanding of project execution, contractual compliance and HSEQ requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
