Junior Project Assistant

Conditions: Location: Crescent Bay Business Centre, Azerbaijan Department: Project Freight Forwarding Working Hours: 09:00–18:00 Reporting To: Forwarding Manager LV Logistics is seeking a Junior Project Assistant to join our team in Azerbaijan. Job responsibilities Updating databases on a daily basis to ensure there are no overdue items Responsible for monitoring material transported and delivered for timeliness and legality Creating new shipments / files for various modes in the system Coordinate with different departments to ensure timely order fulfilment Ensuring relevant documents are uploaded electronically into the system Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates on order status and resolve inquiries. Ensuring that the ERP system, SharePoint, and OneDrive are kept fully up to date. Track and monitor order status, providing updates to relevant stakeholders. Ensuring files are passed for charging out & invoicing in a timely manner. To immediately report any HSSQE-related incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, or non-conformities to the Line Manager and HSSQE representative for proper investigation and corrective action. To actively participate in HSSQE meetings, Relevant Risk Assessments, workshops, Job Safety Analyses, emergency drills, and other safety improvement initiatives organized by the company. To use the right and take responsibility to stop any activity that appears unsafe or poses an immediate risk to personnel, property, or the environment, and to notify the responsible supervisor without delay. Requirements Bachelor degree in Economics, business administration or international affairs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn new software and systems. Proficiency in English and Azerbaijani. Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, suppliers, and customers effectively. Capacity to identify issues and propose solutions in a timely manner. Basic math skills for handling invoicing, budgeting, and cost calculations. Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative.
