Project Manager

“VEXA DS” LLC, a member of the “VLand Systems” LLC Summary The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring full understanding and implementation of contract requirements, project scope, technical specifications, and budgets for production and facility operations. The role focuses on developing projects (scope, timelines, resources), coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, tracking project progress, identifying risks, leading facility improvement projects, overseeing daily production operations, monitoring performance metrics, and managing team development. Responsibilities Ensure full understanding and implementation of contract requirements, project scope, and technical specifications for the operations Develop projects including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams Track projects progress and ensure on-time, on-budget completion Identify and mitigate risks related to safety, downtime, and cost Ensure project work aligns with production needs and minimizes disruptions Lead facility improvement projects such as equipment installations/upgrades, layout changes/workflow optimization, safety, housekeeping, and efficiency improvements Monitor contractor performance and enforce contractual obligations, including quality, schedule, and deliverables Oversee procurement processes in coordination with relevant departments and ensure alignment with project requirements Oversee daily production operations, including staffing, scheduling, and Monitor production metrics such as efficiency, quality, scrap, and throughput Prepare periodic reports (weekly, monthly, and yearly) as required Address production issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions Ensure adherence to safety expectations and good manufacturing practices Work closely with leadership to improve performance Support and develop production supervisors and team Help standardize processes and introduce basic production controls as the operation matures Perform other related duties as assigned by management Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field) or equivalent Additional degree or certification in Project Management, Production Management, or a related field is preferred Professional certification such as PMP or equivalent is an advantage 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or project management Experience leading projects in manufacturing industrial Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills Hands-on experience with SAP PP (Production Planning), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or other relevant programs Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and project reporting tools Languages: Azerbaijani – Fluent, English – Upper-intermediate (written and spoken), Russian – advantage Working Conditions Five-day working week Work location: Sumgayit city Company-provided lunch and transportation Voluntary medical insurance Corporate mobile number Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications, knowledge, and skills Qualified candidates are invited to submit their CVs to the e-mail address in theApply for jobbutton and indicate “Project Manager” in the subject line.
