Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Əsas vəzifələr Conduct daily inspections of production areas, identify unsafe conditions and behaviors, and monitor corrective actions. Identify workplace hazards, conduct occupational risk assessments, and implement preventive measures. Deliver HSE inductions, training, and knowledge assessments for employees and contractors. Monitor safe working practices, including LOTO, working at height, confined spaces, equipment safety, and forklift traffic. Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and follow up on preventive and corrective actions. Monitor the availability, condition, and correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Oversee contractor HSE compliance, permits to work, and relevant safety documentation. Support fire safety, emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, and emergency equipment checks. Maintain HSE documentation and KPI reports; monitor compliance with Carlsberg Critical Standards and Life Saving Rules. Support environmental compliance, waste management, environmental monitoring, regulatory reporting, and interaction with authorities. Tələblər Higher education, preferably in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering. 1–3 years of relevant experience in HSE or occupational safety. Knowledge of Azerbaijani occupational safety, industrial safety, and environmental legislation. Practical skills in occupational and environmental risk assessments, internal HSE inspections, and audits. Knowledge of LOTO, working at height, confined spaces, and hazardous chemical safety. Experience in safety training, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Experience preparing environmental reports and communicating with regulatory authorities. Azerbaijani (native); Russian and English at minimum B2 level. Relevant HSE certifications are an advantage. Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and a practical approach to identifying risks. Attention to detail, accountability, discipline, and proactive communication.
