The Modern Educational Complex named in Honour of Heydar Aliyev Is actively seeking to appoint the right candidate for the following position: Primary Homeroom Teacher – Maternity Leave Cover (Full-Time) Address: Baku, Samad Vurghun street 151 Stream: International (Cambridge) Application Requirements: Bachelor degree in pedagogical field; At least 1-3 years of experience in the appropriate field; Ability to use modern educational and electronic equipment (smart boards, tablets, computers, etc.) in the classroom; Fluent in Azerbaijani, C1 level of English excellent language skills Relevant sertificates; Experience in using MS Office and Windows software packages; To establish effective communication with students and parents, school leaders, teachers and support staff Main responsibilities: Organizes and supports students as a homeroom teacher, helping them develop respect for their country and environment. Maintains regular communication with parents and involves them in students’ development. Conducts lessons appropriate to students’ age, using different teaching methods and materials. Prepares lesson plans and ensures the curriculum is fully covered. Supervises and supports the work of other teachers in the team. Develops annual and daily plans, and monitors and evaluates progress. Participates in professional meetings and suggests improvements to teaching practices. Continuously works on professional development. Maintains discipline during lessons.
