Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team! Location: Sumgait / Khizi Key Responsibilities Install and commission newly installed equipment and machinery. Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for newly installed equipment. Perform maintenance of mechanical components of production and utility equipment. Monitor scheduled inspections and repair activities. Ensure all mechanical work is performed in accordance with relevant instructions, procedures, and safety requirements. Identify potential issues during daily inspections and take preventive action. Organize the prompt replacement of damaged components and resolution of equipment failures. Identify required spare parts, initiate purchase requests, and ensure their availability. Monitor the quality of work performed by mechanical installation and maintenance teams. Coordinate maintenance activities with shift supervisors, mechanical technicians, and fitters. Provide technical support to mechanical technicians and fitters in resolving production-line breakdowns. Organize scheduled testing and inspection of mechanical and lifting equipment. Monitor spare-part availability and report critical requirements to the Area Manager. Research opportunities for process optimization, energy efficiency, and implementation of modern technologies, and develop improvement proposals. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a manufacturing or production environment. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems. Good written and verbal English communication skills. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
